About

Stephanie McKay graduated from the National Manual Osteopathic College in Innisfail, Alberta. She has been in healthcare for thirty years as a Registered Massage Therapist. Stephanie owns and operates her own business in Northwest Calgary. Stephanie believes she has been given a gift through her hands and healing energy. Her passion is to help others by allowing her to assist in healing a patient by determining the root cause of their problem through manual osteopathic treatment methods. Stephanie loves taking the time to help people heal and aid in their recovery to live their best life.

Osteopathic manual therapy is conducted through the osteopathic assessment of anatomical deviations expressed by asymmetry, restriction of normal motion, tissue texture change, and subjective complaints. Stephanie will treat these dysfunctional findings that may effectively interfere with the proper bodily function of some or all body systems. Stephanie can treat conditions like Back pain, Headache, TMJ dysfunction, Hip pain, Tennis and Golfer’s elbow, Whiplash, Concussions, and Digestive issues.

As a manual osteopathic practitioner, Stephanie is educated and trained to work exclusively without drugs or surgery using hands-on manual structural assessment and osteopathic treatment methods. As an osteopathic practitioner, Stephanie does not diagnose or practice medicine or attempt to treat disease. If you are concerned about any medical pathology or disease, always consult your physician before exploring osteopathic manual therapy.
